A wonderful family event for young and old alike. You will have the chance to experience the "olden day's" as you watch cane grinding and syrup making, or ride in a mule pulled wagon. You will also have the opportunity to visit a living Old Tyme Village and see many crafts, old fashioned wares and old tyme front porch pickin'. In addition, there is an Old Tyme Gospel Sing and a Thanksgiving dinner. Don't forget to join in the pre-Christmas Parade that runs through the park, including golf carts, bicycles, horses and more!. This is definitly a fun filled weekend that you don't want to miss out on!

The Saturday after Thanksgiving Lake City's Main Street comes alive with Christmas spirit. Crafts people and Artisans from throughout the area add to the festive atmosphere of the Season. Olustee Park hosts Christmas entertainment by local groups. At dusk on Saturday Santa arrives and the park is transformed into a fairyland as thousands of lights illuminate the park and downtown businesses. You may visit Santa Claus in his gingerbread house Monday - Saturday. The Festival of Lights continues each evening until January 1st.

Battle of Olustee - Friday, February 13, 2009
February 13, 14 & 15, 2009. Largest civil war re-enactment in the south. Friday and Saturday the festival in downtown Lake City includes entertainment, arts, crafts, food, childrens activities and much more. On Saturday morning a parade from the Dept of Transportation on South Marion Avenue continues North to US 90 West to the School Board office.
