Formerly known as Lake City Country Club, Southern Oaks has hosted numerous tournament including the 1996 PGA Tour Qualifying School, Senior Tour Qualifying in 1991 and the 2003 Womens' Senior Golf Tour Qualifying School. Southern Oaks Golf Club offers a beautifully maintained course surrounded by pines and moss covered oak trees. The rolling terrain and design of the course are inspired by North Carolina Sandhills tradition and provides a unique challenge to players of all abilities.
