Conveniently located at the intersection of I-75 and I-10 in North Central Florida, the 146-acre Southside Recreation Complex is located within two miles of more than 2,000 high quality and moderately priced hotel rooms in Lake City. In addition, more than 40 restaurants from fast food all the way up to fine dining are also located within two miles of the U.S. 90 & I-75 interchange.

There’s also plenty of retail shopping nearby, including one of the South’s largest Wal-Mart Supercenter, other grocery stores, a mall, drug stores, medical facilities, home improvement centers and laundry mats.

The area also features four golf courses, world-famous Ichetucknee Springs, great canoeing/kayaking on both the Suwannee and Santa Fe Rivers, additional stadium fields for football and indoor basketball and volleyball facilities.

The Southside Recreation Complex features the following fields and facilities:

· 10 - two hundred foot baseball fields. Four are lighted.

· 3 - three hundred foot baseball fields. One is lighted.

· 8 - two hundred foot girls softball fields. All are lighted.

· 4 - three hundred foot adult softball fields. All are lighted.

· 7 - soccer fields of assorted sizes. Five are lighted

· A total of 846 paved parking lots in four different locations at the site.

· Centrally located concession and restroom buildings at each four-field pod.

· Maintenance of fields and restroom facilities during tournaments are provided at no cost to tournament promoters with a 24 team minimum registration.

· 15 screened batting cages.
